What happens in a pre-check call?
You tell us about the candidate and the planned start date. We walk through the relocation timeline with you, from document collection to getting to work, and point out the dependencies that could go wrong. It is a free call with no obligation. If you then work with us, we turn it into a plan and take the process over.
How long does a relocation take?
It depends on the visa route, the nationality and the authorities' workload. We plan the timeline at the start, and as a registered partner of the Berlin Business Immigration Service we can use its faster route where an employer case qualifies. [Confirm wording] You get an honest estimate on the call.
What is the fast-track procedure, and do you use it?
It is an employer-led procedure under § 81a of the Residence Act with statutory deadlines: after the immigration office's preliminary approval, the embassy appointment must take place within three weeks and the visa decision is usually made within three more. We set it up and run it with the immigration office.
How quickly can you find housing?
In urgent cases we have placed people in accommodation within days. We prefer a couple of weeks' notice, but when your team needs to land fast, we move fast.
Who will be our contact?
One named contact for your HR team, backed by a full team of coordinators, agents and assistants, so your cases never wait on one person.
How does pricing work?
Fixed, itemised pricing per service, agreed before work starts. Government fees are shown separately and paid directly. We send our full corporate service menu after you book a call.
Can you handle several hires at once, and outside Berlin?
Yes. Many clients hire in waves, so we plan capacity with you ahead of time. We are based in Berlin and deliver across Germany, with housing support focused on Berlin.
Can you look after insurance and pensions for the whole team?
Yes. Ina, our licensed independent insurance broker, can be the single point of contact for health insurance, public or private, and corporate pension plans for your entire team.
Do you help EU citizens relocate too?
Yes. No visa is needed, but registration, insurance, housing and payroll still take planning, and we handle them the same way.
How are you different from an immigration law firm?
We run the whole relocation, not only the application: documents, visas, housing, registration, family and insurance. For legal advice we work with an external immigration lawyer.
